Palworld parameters, player count and rate settings

Updated 2026-06-19 · Palworld · Config · 4 min read

Overview

This tutorial covers how to complete "Palworld parameters, player count and rate settings" in the GSS console. The flow is built around visual actions — no command line, and every key step shows its impact and supports rollback.

i
Before you start: Make sure you've created a Palworld server and can open the console. For data-affecting actions, create a backup under Saves first.

Steps

01
Open Parameters
Console → Parameters, browse by config file and category (categories depend on Palworld's config files).
02
Find a setting
Each item shows a display name, raw key and description, and is searchable; numeric items show their allowed range.
03
Edit values
Toggles, numbers and selects are edited inline; the change queue on the right lists everything pending, and out-of-range values can't be saved.
04
Save parameters
Click "Save and restart server" and confirm to write the changes; only the parameters you edited are changed, and other fields in the config file stay as they are. If you want a record, create a manual backup in Saves first.
05
Know when it applies
Saving while running restarts the server immediately (players disconnect); saving while stopped applies on next start.
