Updated 2026-06-19 · Palworld · MOD · 6 min read

Overview

This tutorial covers how to complete "Help players install the same client MODs as your server" in the GSS console. The flow is built around visual actions — no command line, and every key step shows its impact and supports rollback.

i
Before you start: Make sure you've created a Palworld server and can open the console. For data-affecting actions, create a backup under Saves first.

Steps

01
Check the server MOD list
See which files are in the server MOD folder in the MOD Console.
02
Share a list
Send players the names and versions of the MODs they need to install.
03
Client tool coming soon
The GSS client sync tool isn't available for download yet, so players install MODs themselves for now.
04
Keep versions matched
Mismatched client/server MOD versions can prevent players from joining.

⚠
Note: This action may affect saves or online players. Confirm a backup exists before running; high-risk actions only take effect after a second confirmation.
