Overview
This tutorial covers how to complete "Palworld GM console and common commands" in the GSS console. The flow is built around visual actions — no command line, and every key step shows its impact and supports rollback.
i
Before you start: Make sure you've created a Palworld server and can open the console. For data-affecting actions, create a backup under Saves first.
Steps
01
Open the GM console
Console → GM Console. The server must be running; commands go through the platform's internal RCON — no external RCON port is needed or opened.
02
Use quick commands
Quick commands on the right are adapted to Palworld's RCON syntax; clicking one fills the input so you can edit arguments before running it. Games without an adapter have no GM console.
03
Query commands
Palworld example: Info returns the server version and name; ShowPlayers lists online players (shows "0 players online" when empty).
04
Admin commands
Palworld example: Save saves now; Broadcast [text] messages everyone; KickPlayer / BanPlayer [SteamID] kicks or bans; Shutdown [seconds] [message] shuts down after a delay. Kick, ban and shutdown affect online players — confirm first.
05
Reading results
Any returned text is the game's actual reply. "Delivered but no reply" means the game returned nothing — it does not mean success. Errors like "Auth failed" or "Timed out waiting for reply" show their reason directly.
06
If a command fails
Make sure the server is running. An auth failure usually needs a server restart for the config to take effect. If it still fails, check the logs in Monitoring or open a ticket with the command and its output.
